Dr. Michael V. Long began with his undergraduate studies at the University of Washington and progressed on to Life Chiropractic College West in the bay area of California. In the year 2000 he joined the chiropractic profession of which already included his two sisters and his brother (Dr. Doug Long). After graduating he moved back to Washington to join his family in practice. Now along side his older brother he continues the legend of Renaissance Chiropractic Center that his father, Dr. Brian Long, and uncle, Dr. Dennis Long, established many years ago. He has focused much of his energy as a chiropractor towards caring for pregnant women and newborn babies. Additionally, he has extensive experience with people who have been injured on the job or in automobile accidents. Much of Dr. Mike's passion for chiropractic stems from living the chiropractic lifestyle for his entire life and witnessing his father's conviction. He has seen first hand the miracles that occur when the power of the body is allowed to fully express and heal itself.
Dr. Mike was appointed by the Governor to serve on the Chiropractic Quality Assurance Commission (The State disciplinary Board) in 2020. One of his biggest achievements was being honored as the Chiropractic Leadership Alliance's Chiropractor of the Month for March of 2008. A prestigious award given to chiropractors that stand out amongst their peers as leaders in the chiropractic profession. Dr. Mike has also been elected onto the Washington State Chiropractic Association for his congressional district, one of only 12 positions in the state. Dr. Mike would say that one of his greatest accomplishments is having the opportunity to deliver the first adjustment to several hundred newborn babies in their first weeks of life.
